The telephone number in Japanese language is given with individual digits,

Time in Japanese
To express in Japanese language that we mean the time, we add the”-じ” ending to the number of the relevant hour :
x + じ = hour x o’clock
Pay attention to some exceptions from the general rule, marked with bold fonts:

Similarly, to express minutes, it is enough to add to a specific number “-ふん” ending (if it ends with 2, 4, 5, 7 or 9) or “-ぷん” (if it ends with 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, or 10). You can say both, よんふん and よんぷん in case of four.
y + ふん (ぷん) = y minutes
30 minutes: はん.
