Bucket list 2018

It always better to break down something big into small things. So does the bucket list. To achieve something WOW, we need to achieve something just conventional in our life. Or for me, having a new healthy habit/routine is also an achievement. Below is my bucket list for 2018:

  1. Drink lemon water in 21 days
  2. Sleep by 12pm, wake up at 6.30 in 21 days
  3. Gain weight: 82kg (to lean down)
  4. Read at least 6 books in 3 months
  5. Meditate at least 10 minutes/day in 21 days
  6. Write blog 1 post/2 days in 21 days
  7. Do trial IELTs Test and score 8.0
  8. New home for hubertcu.com
  9. Instagram for menimalism
  10. Make money with the first project by June
  11. Cross out Laos in my travel list – South East Asia countries (done)
  12. Experience snow in Korea
  13. Review the past day in 21 day

Bucket List: #1. Go swimming at the edge of Marina Bay Sands infinity pool

Big thanks to my sister and brother, I did complete the very first thing in my bucket list: Go swimming at the edge of Marina Bay Sands infinity pool

Seeing how amazing the swimming pool at Marina Bay Sands is in Singapore, I was dreaming of swimming in that pool but didn’t know when I could make it because it’s really expensive to stay in Marina Bay Sands hotel.

At the end of year 2014, my brother’s family told me that we would go to Singapore for Lunar New Year vacation and we would stay one night at that fabulous hotel, go swimming in that pool, I was super-excited and looking forward to that moment.

Being impressed by the structure of the Marina Bay Sands Building firstly, then going up to the 57fl that people called Sky Park. There are two bars, Observation deck and of course…the stunning Sands SkyPark Infinity Pool

Stretching an impressive 150 metres across Sands Skypark, the stunning outdoor Infinity Pool designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie is the world’s largest at this height and offers the best city-skyline view of of a 5-star hotel in Singapore.

That’s why the experience of swimming at the edge of that pool and enjoying the overview of Singapore is really cool feeling ever.

Tips:
– Use a waterproof case for your phone, or selfie stick. Be careful of taking photos without waterproof. Remember to ask someone good at taking photos too.

– Every room is allowed to receive maximum 3 key cards.

– To access the observation deck, the bars and definitely the stunning pool, all of the guest is required to present the Key Card (s) at the entrance to SkyPark. if you have 2 people, remember to have 2 key cards.

– For me, the best time to enjoy the view and also take some stunning and memorial pictures is around 6am (for Sunrise, the light is also not so bright) and 7pm -9pm (The best time with the good light direction for your own face in the overview of Singapore)

– It’s better saving time and worth your money to check in around 12pm. Ask if you can have the room number above 34 so don’t have to change the elevator to the Sky Park. There are two separated elevators (One from 1-34 floor and one from 34 to 57floor-sky park).

– The last thing, don’t forget to enjoy the complimentary tea in the closet in your hotel room, It’s TWG tea, “the finest tea in the world”, expensive but really tasty flavor.

Bucket list: #49. Have the first ever photo in Studio : I’m a chameleon!

Usually, I feel like I’m a chameleon with many colors in my personality, my ability and my life.

With so much experience since I was a child until now, some happened unexpectedly and some I made it happened. Been done some short-time positions (waiter, real-estate broker, trainee, leader, monitor, an officer,…) and also read books in many different fields. Especially, I love to experience, listen to the stories of interesting people in life then trying to figure out what’s wrong and what’s right, travel to the places I haven’t been to.

I like this quote from “Albert Einstein”: I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.

Yes! I’m not excellent at one side, but I can be good at some sides. The best thing I feel proud of myself is always being positive and trying to get better in everything.

Until now, I feel satisfied with the way I have been being on and feel no regret ’cause I have been trying and experiencing. Strong confidence and steady believe in myself come from some success I got and also from the failure that taught me valuable lessons.

Just let me alive. I will work out everything. Stay strong and beat the limit.

Chameleon.

I look quite serious but I also often make jokes and some told me you are really funny and sincere.

I work hard but also play hard.

Marketing, Sale, IT, Operation, Hospitality, Entertainment, Service, Business, … I can work well in those as long as I try and I want.

I’m a social person but I’m definitely a family person.

I’m sometime quiet but sometime talk a lot.

I like western living style, open but I also have something consistent of an Asian country I don’t wanna change.

I look cold outside but I like to do something surprising and sincere for others.

I like pop, ballad, country songs but I also love r’n’b, dance, electronic.

You can ask me to stay and enjoy at home or you can ask me out to do any activities even the pub, bar!

You can travel with me to natural places or artificial places. I love both.

I like reading books, learning about the culture but I also like to watch entertaining TV shows.

I can make friend with many people around the world in many sections, fields, levels and jobs but I just want to be in relationship with one.

I love travelling but finally, just enjoy most at my own cozy place.

You will see many sides in me ’cause I’m a chameleon.

Completed one in bucket list: 49. Have the first ever photo in studio.

My brother, Ky Thuan Tin, one day asked me to take the photo with the 1st Runner Up in a beauty competition. I hadn’t experienced this kind of thing before. So just do it! and Bang! I got my first ever photo in Studio. Don’t ask my naked photo. I just took off my Tshirt. Haha. That’s it.
